Mrs. Are, a notary public, is an associate in, and a member of, the Firm’s Tax and Litigation Groups. She boasts of inter-disciplinary competences as she is a graduate of both law from King’s College, University of London and accounting from University of Lagos, Nigeria. She is also an associate of both CITN and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria as well as a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, International Bar Association and American Bar Association.
Prior to joining the Firm, Mrs. Are had practiced as a Senior Consultant with Ascension Consulting Services, a tax firm, where she handled tax advisory services, contract review for tax compliance, tax rulings review and legal and regulatory services. She had, before joining Ascension, practiced in the law firm of Babalakin and Co. where she acquired vast experience in specializations such as tax, corporate/commercial law, compliance & regulatory and commercial litigation.
